I am a Consultant General and Vascular Surgeon, providing a range of general surgical services including keyhole gallbladder and hernia surgery. 

At Spire Bushey Hospital, I provide a general surgical service including laparoscopic cholecystectomy (keyhole gall bladder removal), hernia repair, and general lumps and bumps. Alongside this, with my extensive experience in treating vascular disease (both arterial and venous), I provide a complete varicose vein service from simple thread veins treated by sclerotherapy in out-patients, to complex recurrent varicose veins, using a range of surgical techniques (Endovenous laser ablation, surgery, foam therapy) treated in theatres. I treat peripheral arterial disease, aortic aneurysms and carry out carotid surgery for stroke prevention.

My clinical practice also encompasses colorectal surgery, endocrine surgery, endovascular surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, laparoscopic and minimal access surgery, pancreatic and biliary surgery, thyroid disease, thoracoscopic sympathectomy, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), hernia repair, haemorrhoids, anal fissures, gallstones and vascular medicine and surgery.

I pride myself in being kind and understanding, taking the time to understand my patients' problems in detail. Specifically for varicose vein treatment, I lay out a plan of treatment customised for each leg, which may include different surgical techniques depending on the severity of the veins and the patient's expectations. I have a professional and gentle bedside manner that puts patients at ease. A key member of my team is my secretary Julie, who is easily contactable by phone and email. Julie is also highly experienced, having worked with me for over ten years. Her knowledge and sympathetic approach are highly appreciated by patients.
