I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialist interests in hip and knee surgery, sports injuries and complex trauma. I have been practising as a consultant since 2017 and have worked in Liverpool since 2020.
I treat a wide range of conditions, from arthritis requiring joint replacement to sports-related knee injuries such as ligament damage, meniscal tears and cartilage problems. I also manage complex trauma cases, including pelvic and hip injuries, often treating patients referred from across the region.
I have a particular interest in modern surgical techniques, including minimally invasive and tendon-sparing procedures, aimed at supporting recovery and helping patients return to activity as safely and quickly as possible.
Alongside my clinical work, I am closely involved in teaching and training. I lead undergraduate education in trauma and orthopaedics for University of Liverpool medical students and support the development of trainees and fellows within the region. I was honoured to be awarded Trainer of the Year by Merseyside Orthopaedic Trainees in 2025.
I am also active in research, contributing to projects that focus on improving patient outcomes and long-term mobility.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking in North Wales and playing music.
I aim to provide clear advice and high-quality care, helping patients feel informed and supported throughout their treatment.
