I am a very experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a busy private practice which mirrors my NHS practice. My interests include low back pain and sciatica in which I have had an interest since my early training days. 

Amongst the areas I specialise in are back surgery (discectomy and decompression for spinal stenosis, spinal surgery), back pain investigations, balloon kyphoplasty, holistic care including lifestyle medicine advice, osteoporosis and vertebroplasty.

I came to the UK in 1991 and trained at the Royal Free Hospital, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, Great Ormond Street Hospital and other hospitals in North London.

My practice is to take the patient's views and feelings into consideration while discussing treatment options. I have many non-operative solutions for low back pain and sciatica, but when surgery is required I have a keen interest in minimally invasive surgical options and injections.
