I am a Consultant ENT Surgeon with a special interest in diseases of the nose, sinuses and base of skull. I work at two major UK teaching hospitals. I support the Eye Hospital and Children's’ Hospital in Manchester with my clinical skills and advice.

The main aspects of my work are rhinoplasty (primary and revision), sinus surgery (polyps, frontal sinus disease, watery eye, smell disorders, sinus headache), blocked nose (septum, turbinates), and skull base surgery (pituitary tumours, skull base brain tumours eg chordoma, meningioma, olfactory neuroblastoma, papilloma). I am one of the busiest rhinoplasty surgeons in the UK as shown by 2019 GIRFT data.

My special clinical interests include allergies treatment, balloon sinuplasty, rhinoplasty including revision, complex sinus surgery and technology in sinus surgery.

I receive referrals for nose, sinus and skull base conditions from Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cumbria, Merseyside, Isle of Man, Scotland and Wales. As well as European countries (Sweden, Denmark, Moldova, Estonia, Slovenia, Switzerland, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Iceland, Norway and Poland) and internationally (Dubai, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Israel, Pakistan, India, Australia and New Zealand).

I am an academic ENT surgeon, which means that I write and edit book chapters and journal publications. I also run and teach on sinus and rhinoplasty training courses in Manchester, across the UK and internationally.

I have also recently been elected next President of the British Rhinological Society.
