My sub-specialist elective practice has been exclusively in disorders of the foot and ankle. I specialise in treating patients with sports injuries of the foot and ankle, deformity correction (correction of painful flatfoot and bunion correction), degenerative conditions of foot and ankle (corrective fusions and ankle replacements). 

I also offer non-operative treatments such as physiotherapy rehabilitation, podiatry and orthotic referral for insoles and footwear modifications, as well as injections under X-ray and ultrasound guidance.

I graduated from St John’s Medical College in 1996, following which I undertook Basic Surgical Training at Liverpool & North Wales rotation, leading to MRCS Ed. I then completed my Specialist Orthopaedic Training at Leeds and Wessex and subsequently went to Melbourne, Australia for my Fellowship in Foot & Ankle Surgery.

I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth since 2013.
