Mr Tassone graduated from the University of Birmingham and was the first to complete a Head and Neck Senior House Officer (SHO) rotation including six months of maxillofacial surgery in Dorset. He completed his SHO training at The Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, London including time spent on the Professorial Unit. Mr Tassone trained as a Specialist Registrar in East Anglia.
He completed his sub-specialist training as a Head and Neck Fellow in Melbourne, Australia at the Western Hospital and Petermac Cancer Institute (Australia's leading cancer hospital) gaining wide exposure in the management and surgery of many complex head and neck cancers.
Mr Tassone received a 'CARES' Award in 2011 from the Western Hospital and was nominated for 'Clinical Tutor of the Year' in 2012 and 2011 at Western Clinical School, University of Melbourne.

Special Clinical Interests: Neck lumps including salivary gland (submandibular and parotid), Voice and swallowing problems, Tonsillitis, Sore throat, Paediatric obstructive sleep apnoea, Recurrent ear infections, Glue ear, Hearing loss, Dizziness/vertigo, Tinnitus, Ear pain, Sinusitis, Nasal blockage (children and adults).
