I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral, where I lead the oculoplastic and acute eye services.
I look after patients with a wide range of eye conditions, from common concerns such as dry eye and blepharitis, through to more complex issues affecting the eyelids, tear ducts and surrounding skin. Many of my patients are referred to me for specialist care of eyelid problems, including drooping lids, lid malpositions and periocular skin cancers.
Alongside my NHS role, I offer private treatment for cataracts and external eye conditions, as well as oculoplastic procedures. This includes functional and cosmetic eyelid surgery such as blepharoplasty (eyelid lift and eye bag removal), and treatments like anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.
My approach is always centred around understanding each patient’s concerns and tailoring treatment accordingly, whether that’s improving vision, eye comfort or appearance. I aim to provide clear, supportive advice and achieve natural-looking results where cosmetic procedures are involved.
