I am a consultant urologist seeing patients at Spire with a wide range of urinary and male health conditions. My approach is based on personalised care, taking time to understand each patient’s symptoms and concerns and offering clear, tailored treatment options.
I regularly assess and manage lower urinary tract symptoms in both men and women, including problems with flow, urgency and frequency. This includes medical and surgical treatments such as minimally invasive procedures for prostate enlargement, including TURP, TUIP and UroLift, as well as intravesical botulinum toxin injections where appropriate. I also treat recurrent urinary tract infections and see patients with kidney stones, offering modern endoscopic treatments such as ureteroscopy and laser lithotripsy.
A key part of my practice involves the investigation and early diagnosis of urological cancers, including prostate, bladder and testicular cancer. I provide careful assessment, clear explanation of results and guidance through next steps, should treatment be required. Alongside this, I also undertake a range of penile and scrotal procedures, including circumcision, frenuloplasty, hydrocele repair and removal of epididymal cysts.
In addition to my private work at Spire, I am the Cancer Lead for Urology at the Countess of Chester Hospital and am closely involved in developing and improving diagnostic pathways for urological cancer care. I am also involved in teaching and medical appraisal, reflecting my commitment to high standards of patient care and professional practice.
Outside of work, I enjoy water sports, including paddle boarding and windsurfing, as well as keeping busy with hands‑on DIY projects.
