I am a full-time NHS Consultant in Plastic Surgery at the University Hospital of North Durham, and I also practise as a certified Cosmetic Surgery Consultant at Spire Washington Hospital in the UK. With over 20 years’ experience in plastic surgery, I focus on providing safe, high-quality care tailored to each individual patient.
I qualified as a doctor at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India, before completing my basic surgical training in Cardiff and South Wales. I went on to gain further experience in plastic surgery in Plymouth, Hull, Dudley, Aylesbury and Coventry. To broaden my expertise, I completed fellowships in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery at the Texas Medical Centre in Houston, USA, and at the University Hospital of Brussels in Belgium. I am also qualified in the use of medical lasers.
I specialise in a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. Much of my work focuses on breast surgery, including breast enlargement with implants, breast reduction and uplift, correction of inverted nipples, and treatment for male breast enlargement (gynaecomastia).
I also perform body contouring procedures such as tummy tucks, liposuction, and surgery to reshape the arms, thighs and overall body. This includes supporting patients following significant weight loss, where excess skin can be addressed to improve comfort and appearance.
In addition, I carry out skin surgery for moles and skin cancer, as well as general plastic surgery procedures. I have experience in male and female genital surgery, including labiaplasty and circumcision, as well as more specialised procedures such as hypospadias repair, buried penis correction, frenulum correction, and scrotal surgery. I also treat conditions such as multiple neurofibromatosis.
I am a full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).
