I have a solid grounding in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery, with more than 23 years' total experience in the specialty. I was schooled in the UK but did my medical training in Lahore, Pakistan. My plastic surgery training has been in every province of the UK, including Northern Ireland. I am a fully accredited plastic surgeon in the UK. I have been an NHS consultant since February 2005, working in one of the largest units in the country.
My sub-specialty interests include the management of head and neck cancer, skin cancer, and facial paralysis. Surgery for these conditions often involves the use of state of the art reconstructive techniques, including microsurgery. I also have a particular interest in cosmetic surgery.
My practice includes cosmetic surgery to the face, nose, breast and abdomen, liposculpture, prominent ear correction and a number of other procedures including non-surgical treatment. I currently use an Iphone application to show patients how they would look after different procedures.

Personal profile
I am happily married with three wonderful children, two boys and a girl. My wife is also a doctor. I drive my wife to distraction with my addiction to sports (especially football, cricket and golf) and music. I also really enjoy scuba diving. I am a huge fan of the Beatles. I sing and play keyboards and the guitar, having done so in a band in my student days. I am known amongst my friends and family as a fountain of trivial knowledge, though I argue that knowledge is never trivial. I love to read when I'm allowed to, be it fiction, politics, newspapers, sports magazines or music magazines.
