As a consultant ENT surgeon I am pleased to care for patients both adults and paediatrics with all kinds of ear, nose and throat problems, but my special interest and expertise is in; laser surgery, voice, dysphagia, snoring and sleep apnoea, head, neck and facial cancers or benign lumps, thyroid, parathyroid, endocrine surgery, salivary gland surgery and sinus surgery.

I also have expertise in minimally invasive (keyhole) treatments such as LASER and robotic surgery.

I have performed over 10000 operations ranging from tonsillectomy to major head and neck cancer surgery and performed over 30000 outpatient procedures.

In November 2009 I treated a young girl for Channel 4's Embarrassing Bodies kids special. The child's mum went to the Embarrassing Bodies team because she was worried about her daughter's dribbling. Following a consultation, I carried out an adenotonsillectomy and release of tongue tie (Frenotomy) operation.

Having trained in adult and paediatric general ENT surgery in the UK, I have undergone subspecialty training in the USA, Australia and the UK.

I began my medical journey with an MBChB from the University of Manchester in 1992. I later completed my Fellowship in Otolaryngology from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1997, followed by the Specialist Certificate in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in 2002. My training was at major centres in Manchester and London, including the world famous Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, Grays Inn Road, London.

Since 2004, I have been serving as a Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, where I provide expert care in head, neck, and thyroid surgery. I lead the voice, swallowing and upper airway services.
