Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Nigel Parr at Spire include:
Urological oncology, stone disease, lithotripsy, ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, prostate, bladder and penile cancer, renal and ureteric calculi, urethral strictures and male infertility including microsurgical reversal of vasectomy.
Mr Parr has a particular interest in prostate cancer imaging and advanced biopsy techniques, (template biopsy). He also runs a supra regional penile cancer service and receives many referrals for suspected penile cancer.
Mr Parr was the first Urologist to be appointed to Wirral University Teaching Hospital's NHS Foundation, over 23 years ago. He has wide reaching experience across the field of urology, but nowadays his particular interests relate to prostate, bladder and penile cancer, urinary tract infections and inflammation, infertility and urinary tract stones.
