I have been a Consultant Vascular Surgeon since 2011 and currently practise at the South Mersey Arterial Centre at the Countess of Chester Hospital, as well as Warrington and Halton Hospitals.

During my specialist vascular training, I gained experience in high‑volume centres managing a wide range of elective and emergency vascular conditions. My clinical practice includes the treatment of venous disease, offering procedures such as endovenous laser ablation, radiofrequency ablation, foam sclerotherapy, ClariVein and VenaSeal™ therapy, as well as conventional varicose vein surgery, including both primary and redo procedures.

I also manage a broad spectrum of arterial conditions, including carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms, peripheral vascular disease and diabetic foot complications, as well as leg oedema and chronic ulceration. My surgical work includes carotid endarterectomy, performed under local or general anaesthesia, as well as open and endovascular procedures for aneurysmal and occlusive disease, including EVAR for abdominal aortic aneurysms. I also undertake lower limb revascularisation procedures such as femoral and popliteal bypass surgery, complex distal bypasses and, where required, amputation surgery.

Alongside my clinical practice, I am actively involved in education and training. I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Liverpool and the University of Salford, contribute to undergraduate teaching, and act as an OSCE examiner. I have received an Educational Merit Award in recognition of my contribution to training at Warrington General Hospital. I am also involved in national surgical trainee recruitment, act as an Educational Supervisor, and contribute to regional and national teaching programmes, including basic surgical skills and cadaveric surgical training courses.

I am actively involved in clinical governance and currently hold the role of Audit Lead and Mortality and Morbidity Lead at the South Mersey Arterial Centre. This role involves coordinating audit activity, supporting research projects and leading regular audit and educational meetings. I am also engaged in regional academic activity as Co‑Secretary of the Mersey Vascular Group and contribute to the organisation of North West vascular meetings.

My clinical work includes endovascular and surgical treatment of vascular disease, arterial assessment and mapping, carotid surgery, and the management of venous conditions including laser and foam treatments for varicose veins.
