Specialises in
I have 16 years of experience in trauma surgery, including more than seven years working at the major trauma centre in Manchester. During this time, I have treated a wide range of complex injuries, which has provided valuable experience in managing challenging cases.
Alongside my trauma work, I specialise in hip and knee replacement surgery. I perform more than 400 hip and knee replacements each year, helping me maintain and develop my expertise in joint replacement procedures. To date, I have performed over 1,100 total hip replacements and 2,200 total knee replacements. I have also recently started performing robot-assisted knee replacements, using advanced technology to support surgical precision.
My areas of expertise include primary total hip replacement, primary total knee replacement, knee arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), revision total knee replacement, and robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement surgery. I work closely with each patient to understand their symptoms, discuss treatment options, and help them make informed decisions about their care.
I was the trauma lead at Salford Royal Hospital for two years, where I helped oversee trauma services and patient care.
Outside of clinical practice, I am the co-founder and Chair of the Board of Trustees of Action For Humanity, a UK-based charity with an annual budget of £35 million. Through this role, I support the organisation’s work in delivering humanitarian aid and assistance to communities in need.
