I am a Consultant Gynaecologist and Gynaecological Oncology Lead at University Hospitals of Birmingham (UHB) NHS Trust, with a specialist interest in complex gynaecological surgery and advanced endometriosis care. I lead the nationally accredited BSGE Endometriosis Centres of Excellence at both UHB and Spire Little Aston Hospital, where I provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for women living with severe and complex endometriosis.

I care for women with a wide range of benign gynaecological conditions, including ovarian cysts, fibroids, menstrual disorders, uterine polyps, infertility and menopause-related concerns. I also have particular expertise in operative hysteroscopy, a minimally invasive procedure used to diagnose and treat conditions inside the womb, including submucous fibroids, endometrial polyps, uterine septum and heavy bleeding treated with endometrial ablation.

A major focus of my practice is advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. I perform complex procedures for deeply infiltrating endometriosis, including cases involving the bowel, as well as laparoscopic endometriosis surgery and total laparoscopic hysterectomy. My approach is centred on enhanced recovery, helping many patients return home within 24 hours and resume normal activities as quickly as possible.

I completed my specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the West Midlands in 2011 and have since undertaken further advanced surgical training in leading centres across the UK and internationally. As Clinical Lead of a BSGE-accredited Endometriosis Centre, I oversee the delivery of evidence-based care that meets national standards. These centres are recognised by the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) for excellence in the treatment of severe endometriosis, giving patients access to experienced multidisciplinary teams and advanced surgical care.
