Specialises in

I have been an orthopaedic surgeon for over 20 years specialising in lower limb arthroplasty. I take my patients' trust seriously and go above and beyond to help them. I create the best results for my patients by understanding their needs, providing care that's tailored to them, and educating them about their choices.

I specialise in general orthopaedic surgery with specific interest in hip and knee pain, sports injuries, arthroplasty, joint replacements, fractures, hip surgery, knee surgery, knee and hip arthroscopies.

To date I have performed over 500 hip replacements, 500 knee replacements and carried out over 5,000 arthroscopic procedures on knees and hips and over 500 ACL reconstructions over a 20 year period experience.

I achieved my Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery degree (MBChB) from Cairo University and completed my Basic Surgical Training in Norfolk, United Kingdom. I moved on to work as a Clinical Research Fellow with Professor Gordon Blunn at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and University College London (UCL). I successfully completed an MD (Res) degree in Biomedical Engineering. After that I went on to secure higher surgical training in Trauma & Orthopaedics, in the prestigious Percivall Pott North East Thames London Deanery Rotation.

I am the clinical lead for arthroplasty at Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals. Prior to this I was the clinical governance lead from June 2019- June 2021 in the same hospitals.

I am currently an ATLS instructor and have held positions as an examiner on various FRCS (Tr & Ortho) preparation courses.

I am the founder of the online National FRCS (Tr & Orth) Clinical and Viva Preparation Programme.
