I am a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford with over 10 years' experience treating adults and children with general ENT conditions. I have a specialist interest in disorders of the ear, hearing and balance.

I carried out specialist fellowship training in Otology, Hearing Implants and Skull Base surgery at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney and have expertise in endoscopic (minimally-invasive) ear surgery. I hold a substantive NHS Consultant appointment at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, where I am leading the establishment of a Hearing Implant Centre.

I was educated at the Royal Grammar School in Guildford before completing medical training with a double first from Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge and distinction from University College London. I ranked first nationally in competitive selection for higher surgical ENT training, which I undertook in South London including rotations at St George’s Hospital, the Evelina Children’s Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals.

In 2021, I was awarded the Gold Medal for the highest mark in the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons examination (FRCS ORL-HNS).

Since 2016, I have been the UK Director of Global ENT Outreach, a charity that aims to improve the lives of people with hearing loss and ear disease through surgical training and education in low- and middle-income countries including Ukraine and Ethiopia. I am the Clinical Director of Auris Ear Care, the UK's first CQC-regulated provider of microsuction for mobile ear wax removal at home.
