Mr Grainger is a full-time spinal surgeon at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital. His practice encompasses a wide range of spinal conditions covering all levels of the spine. He carried out his basic spinal training in the West Midlands which was consolidated by a combined Orthopaedic/Neurosurgical Fellowship in Liverpool.
Mr Grainger performs fusion and motion preserving procedures for lumbar and cervical problems, as well as managing as many conditions conservatively as possible. He treats sciatica, spinal stenosis, degenerative back pain, arm pain, spinal trauma, tumours and infection.

Mr Grainger is a "black country" lad by birth. He has lived around the West Midlands and especially North Worcestershire for the majority of his life. Any spare time left by his wife and 3 children is spent coaching a youth football team, Tae Kwan Do and working with the local scout group.
