I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hand and wrist conditions, with experience treating a wide range of problems affecting movement, strength and function.
I see patients with common conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendon problems, Dupuytren’s disease, trigger finger and ganglion cysts, as well as more complex wrist and hand concerns. I offer both non-surgical treatments, including splints and injections, and surgical options where needed, including procedures to reduce pain, restore function and improve day-to-day use of the hand.
I trained in orthopaedic surgery in the South West of England before undertaking advanced fellowship training in upper limb surgery, including experience in both the UK and internationally. Since being appointed as a consultant, I have developed a specialist focus on hand and wrist surgery.
A key part of my work involves treating arthritis of the hand and wrist, guiding patients from early management through to surgical options such as joint fusion or replacement where appropriate.
I understand how important hand function is in everyday life, so I take time to listen carefully and provide clear, tailored advice to help patients regain confidence and independence.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and keeping active through running and cycling.
