I am a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon based at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital and Spire King's Lynn Clinic, with specialist expertise in knee surgery, lower limb trauma and complex limb reconstruction. I provide private orthopaedic care to patients in Cambridge and the wider East of England, offering both elective and complex post‑traumatic treatment pathways. 

My main interest is orthopaedic trauma of upper and lower extremities with a special emphasis on complex injuries and post-traumatic sequelae of the lower leg and trauma of the elbow and shoulder. These are also the areas of my medico-legal expertise. For fixation of complex lower leg injuries, infected non-unions, non-unions and delayed unions I often use circular frames (Taylor Spatial Frame, Ilizarov Frame).

In my elective work I focus on knee arthroplasties (total knee replacement, uni-condylar knee replacement) as well as knee arthroscopies with special anatomical type of ACL reconstructions and meniscus repairs. I also offer treatment for deformity corrections, limb lengthening, lower limb disorders and reconstruction, bone infection surgery, lower limb sports injuries, non‑union surgery, osteotomies and periprosthetic infections.

My special interest in the arthroplasty field is intra-operative analgesia where I inject local anaesthetic at the end of the operation to help make the first few post-operative days as comfortable as possible for patients and enable them to exercise as soon as possible post knee replacement to regain the range of movement in the joint as soon as possible. This is possibly related to a better outcome of surgery.
