I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist focus on foot and ankle conditions, offering assessment and treatment at Spire Murrayfield Wirral. I treat a wide range of problems affecting the foot and ankle, including sports injuries, arthritis, instability and deformity, and support patients through both non‑surgical and surgical treatment options.
My areas of expertise include ankle arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), ankle fusion, ankle replacement, treatment for ankle instability, and Morton’s neuroma excision. Wherever possible, I explore conservative treatment options and place strong emphasis on clear communication, personalised care, and helping patients make informed decisions about their treatment.
I have extensive experience in both primary and revision foot and ankle surgery and regularly manage complex conditions. My approach is focused on relieving pain, improving mobility, and supporting long‑term joint function so patients can return to everyday activities and sport where appropriate.
Alongside my clinical practice, I remain actively involved in education and research. I regularly lecture on foot and ankle surgery and have presented and published research at a local, national and international level, ensuring my practice reflects current evidence and advances in technique.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring the countryside both locally and further afield. I am also a keen cyclist and rock climber.
