I have obtained higher surgical training in orthopaedics at Newcastle rotation. My spinal training was obtained in Newcastle and Sunderland. I obtained further spinal training as a Spinal Fellow at Hope Hospital, Manchester and I was AO International Fellow at the Spinal Education and Research Center, Denver, USA.

I accept referrals for various disorders of spines and this reflects my clinical practice at Royal Preston and Chorley Hospitals. My research is focused on outcome measures and various treatment methods for lumbar spine disease and I was awarded Best paper at the British Scoliosis Society in 2003.
