Specialises in
I have been a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Pinderfields Hospital for more than 20 years and have also practised privately at Methley Park Hospital throughout this time.
I have broad experience in orthopaedic and trauma surgery, with specialist interests in lower limb surgery, joint replacement, knee surgery and arthroscopy. The majority of my elective practice focuses on hip replacement, knee replacement and knee arthroscopy procedures.
I perform both cemented and uncemented hip replacements, as well as cemented knee replacements, including patient-specific knee replacements, I-Assist knee procedures and gender-specific knee designs. I am also increasingly undertaking complex hip and knee revision surgery.
I completed my orthopaedic training with a Hip Fellowship under Professor Wroblewski at Wrightington Hospital and a Knee Fellowship with Mr Richard Parkinson at Arrowe Park Hospital.
Alongside my elective work, I also have a strong interest in trauma surgery. I completed an AO trauma fellowship in Tampa, Florida, and am a faculty member for AO Basic and Advanced Fracture Fixation courses.
