Mr Malcolm Martin

Highly Specialist Physiotherapist

BSc (Hons), MSc, HCPC

Following service in the Armed Forces, I qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 1996 from Brunel University. I spent five years gaining a wide range of experience in London teaching hospitals as well as working full-time at Fulham Football Club treating and rehabilitating professional and youth academy football players before arriving at Spire Gatwick Park Hospital in 2001. I have subsequently conducted postgraduate study and training culminating in gaining membership to the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP). I have also completed a master’s degree in physiotherapy and conducted research into the effectiveness of physiotherapy and ergonomic interventions to address changes to cervical postural.

I have a particular interest in treating children and adults who suffer from a wide range of biomechanical, musculoskeletal and postural problems.

I am also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and use my specialised musculoskeletal skills together with my knowledge of exercise rehabilitation and a western approach to acupuncture to treat my patients at Spire Gatwick Park Hospital.
