I am a consultant urological surgeon with special interest in female and functional urology. I have been working as consultant urological surgeon in the NHS since 2013.
I am competent in all aspects of general urology, and my special interest lies in female and male incontinence. I can deal with a wide range of urological pathologies, such as diagnosis and management of prostate cancer, and I regularly perform MRI guided fusion biopsies of prostate.
I am proficient in managing various bladder disorders including interstitial cystitis, painful bladder syndrome, recurrent urinary track infections, bladder cancer, overactive bladder syndrome and urinary stone disease. I perform urinary stone disease treatments including ureteroscopies and laser treatments and am competent in general paediatric urology. I perform Botulinum toxin treatment for bladder, posterior tibial nerve stimulation and urodynamics for bladder disorders.
My areas of interest include urinary incontinence, interstetial cystitis, stone disease, endourology and general urology. I have a special interest in neurological disorders impacting urinary system including multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease.
I am the core member of the local female and functional urology MDT and also the uro-oncology MDT.
