I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon offering private treatment at Spire Murrayfield Hospital, Spire Yale Hospital and Spire Abergele Clinic. I have extensive experience in modern hip and knee surgery and routinely perform computer‑assisted knee replacements, unicompartmental knee replacements, patellofemoral (kneecap) arthroplasty, minimally invasive surgery and resurfacing hip arthroplasty.
My clinical interests include hip and knee arthroplasty, arthroscopic knee surgery, paediatric orthopaedics, forefoot surgery and the management of soft tissue injuries. I perform a wide range of procedures including hip and knee surgery and arthroscopy, and I aim wherever possible to use advanced techniques to support faster recovery and improved outcomes.
I undertook my specialist orthopaedic training in the South West Thames region of London and was appointed to the prestigious Great Ormond Street Hospital Paediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship, rotating with the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore. I further extended my training through an additional clinical fellowship in lower limb arthroplasty before being appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, North Wales.
I hold an Honorary Consultant contract with the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry, which allows me to continue developing my specialist interests in paediatric orthopaedics. Alongside my clinical work, I have a strong commitment to education and training and regularly assist with postgraduate courses and educational skills sessions. I also take part in registrar in‑training assessment panels (RITA). supporting the development of future orthopaedic surgeons.
