I have trained in general surgery and kidney transplantation as well as renal failure surgery. I have developed a large volume of practice in benign biliary disease (offering laparoscopic cholecystectomy) and abdominal wall hernia surgery of all types (offering laparoscopic and open surgery).

I also offer all aspects of dialysis access surgery. My NHS role includes all aspects of emergency general surgery, including laparoscopic appendicectomy as well as a lead role in laparoscopic and open splenectomy.

I began my medical career at Cambridge University from where I qualified in 1995. The majority of my higher surgical training was in the East Midlands although I did spend a year in Birmingham gaining extra experience in all aspects of kidney transplantation surgery.
