I am a General Surgeon with a specialist interest in open and laparoscopic surgery. 

My practice mainly involves elective bowel surgery along with on-call commitments for all general surgical emergencies. As a fully trained surgeon, I offer expertise in open and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for bowel cancer and inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis). I also offer Single Port Laparoscopic (single incision keyhole) surgery mainly for bowel cancer.

Along with laparoscopic surgery for hernias (groin, abdominal, incisional) I also deal with all aspects of ano-proctology (piles, fissures, fistulas) including HALO and THD for haemorrhoids. I also specialise in trans-anal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS) for large rectal polyps and early rectal cancer. I am an accredited endoscopist (OGD, Colonoscopy and polyp removal).

Specialist training in pelvic floor dysfunction allows me to offer patients effective management of evacuatory disorders and rectal prolapse.

After a period of research at Royal Free Hospital and University College, London, I gained specialist surgical training (colorectal and general surgery) in the South West Thames region. I completed my training with a senior fellowship in recurrent rectal cancer and pelvic floor surgery at St Thomas' Hospital, London.
