I am a Consultant Surgeon specialising in vascular and endovascular surgery, with a particular interest in venous conditions such as varicose veins and deep vein thrombosis. My approach focuses on delivering safe, effective treatments that help patients feel more comfortable and confident in their everyday lives.
I trained in London at University College London and the Middlesex Hospital, qualifying in 2000, before moving to the North West to complete my specialist training. During this time, I also undertook research into advanced aneurysm repair techniques, leading to a doctorate from the University of Liverpool.
Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in research, education and innovation within vascular surgery. I regularly contribute to medical publications and present at conferences both in the UK and internationally, helping to share knowledge and improve patient care.
I have a specialist interest in the latest minimally invasive techniques, particularly in the treatment of venous disease, and strive to offer patients a personalised treatment plan tailored to their needs.
Outside of medicine, I have a long-standing passion for aviation and have been fortunate to fly a range of aircraft over the years—although nowadays, work and family life tend to keep me firmly grounded.
My aim is always to provide clear, honest advice and support, helping patients feel informed and reassured at every stage of their treatment.
