Specialises in
I am a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of vein and artery conditions.
I support patients with concerns such as varicose veins, thread veins, peripheral arterial disease (including diabetic foot), carotid artery disease and abdominal aortic aneurysm. I offer both surgical and minimally invasive treatments, including endovenous procedures and injection therapies, helping to improve symptoms and support recovery.
I have been treating venous conditions for many years and have worked as a consultant at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital since 2010. I have a particular interest in modern, less invasive techniques for managing vein conditions, which can often allow for quicker recovery and less disruption to daily life.
I trained in Glasgow before completing specialist vascular training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where I also undertook research into vein health and regeneration. I then further developed my skills during an international fellowship in Australia, focusing on advanced endovascular (keyhole) techniques.
Alongside my clinical work, I am involved in teaching and contribute to developments in vascular surgery, supporting high standards of care for patients.
Outside of work, I enjoy maintaining an active lifestyle and spending time with family.
I aim to provide clear information and tailored treatment options, helping patients feel confident and supported throughout their care.
