I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon. My prime interests are spinal deformity, back pain, tumours, fractures, infection and degenerative disease of the spine in both children and adults.
I offer back pain investigation, spine surgery, cervical/neck surgery, minimal access surgery, revision surgery and treatment for spinal tumours.
My clinical interests include lumbar spine disorders, back pain, lumbar spine, thoracic spine and cervical spine, degenerative disease, spinal deformity, spinal tumours, kyphoplasty, trauma, spinal infection, spinal fusion, disc replacement, paediatric scoliosis, failed spines and fractures.
Both operative and non-operative treatment modalities are offered, with treatment being individualised to each patient.
I practice in Bristol NHS Trust. I obtained a first class honours degree at Worcester College, Oxford and continued my basic orthopaedic training there. My specialist spinal training was in Oxford, The Institute Calot (France) and Seattle (USA).
I see both adults and children at Spire Bristol Hospital.
