I am a highly experienced Gynaecologist with a comprehensive practice covering many aspects of gynaecology. I have been a UK consultant for 10 years and I specialise in keyhole surgery and infertility.

I am an expert in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery and IVF, I have a vast experience in infertility and urogynaecology and I hold RCOG and European accreditations.

My expertise extends to a wide range of procedures, including endometriosis surgery, laparoscopic and open hysterectomy, myomectomy (fibroid removal), ovarian/tubal surgery, hysteroscopy, and vaginal prolapse repair operations, all performed at Spire Regency Hospital Macclesfield. I can also advise on the menopause. 

I am part of the Stockport Endometriosis Centre Team providing tertiary care to women with severe endometriosis in multidisciplinary settings.

I have performed hundreds of laparoscopic endometriosis surgeries and laparoscopic hysterectomies, prolapse surgeries and over 1,000 hysteroscopic procedures in the NHS and privately. I always monitor and audit my outcomes to ensure I am providing top quality world class services to my patients. 

I qualified in 2002 from Cairo university, Egypt; I trained in the largest maternity and gynaecology hospital in Egypt, Elgalaa Teaching Hospital. I then moved to the UK in 2009, where I achieved my membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2010 and later have been elected to hold a FRCOG status owing to my work in women's health. I hold several clinical and research degrees in general gynaecology, infertility, laparoscopic, hysteroscopic surgeries and Urogynaecology.

I am the fertility lead in my trust and am heavily involved in training junior doctors. I am a member of the RCOG examinations panel and portfolio advisory committee.

In addition to my clinical work, I am part of the Egyptian liaison group providing support to overseas doctors and I am a founding member of BEMA (British Egyptian Medical Association).
