I offer a full colorectal, laparoscopic and general surgical practice at the clean and comfortable Spire London East Hospital, Redbridge, Essex. In addition, I hold a full time NHS consultancy post at Newham University NHS Hospital Trust in East London.
I obtained my BD in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Liverpool Medical School in 1994. I subsequently completed my surgical training on the North East Thames Higher Surgical Rotation and have worked in a number of specialist colorectal centres, including St Mark's and Mount Sinai Hospitals in Toronto.
I hold a Masters degree in Surgery from the University of London and have published a number of articles in scientific medical journals concerning colorectal cancer.
My clinical interests include colon and rectal cancer, ileo-anal pouch surgery for inflammatory bowel disease, pilonidal sinus disease (including Karydakis procedure for complex cases), caparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallstones), gastroscopy, anal fistulae and fissures and haemorrhoids.

I am married and have two young children. I'm a keen sportsman and regularly play badminton and tennis. I am also involved in providing free medical treatment to poor villagers in India.
