My main areas of expertise are cosmetic and reconstruction surgery and removal of small lesions such as warts, moles, cysts and basal cell carcinomas. I am also interested in weight loss surgery, which includes abdominoplasty, brachioplasty and breast reconstructive surgery - including augmentations, reductions and breast lifts. 

It is important to me that all my patients have a good result, which meets their expectations and that they are happy. I enjoy getting to know my patients and to understand them.

I have been a consultant at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) since 2017, having completed plastic surgical residencies in Germany and I also trained in the USA. After being a board certified plastic surgeon in 2009, I worked as a consultant at the University of Würzburg, Germany. I also led a private clinic for aesthetic surgery and also opened my own practice. In the UK I have built-up my private practice at Spire Norwich Hospital, as well as my NHS practice at the NNUH. 

I have volunteered for two-three weeks on board of the hospital ship 'Africa Mercy' in West Africa every year since 2002. Where I solely perform reconstructive procedures, such as severe burn contracture release, removal of large soft tissue tumours, hypospadias and congenital abnormalities.

Professional leadership

Before coming to the UK, I ran the private Schlosspark Klinik (a clinic solely for Plastic Surgery) as an employed consultant expanding my organisational skills. Being able to enlarge my skills in business and leadership was a privilege.

My outside interests are spending time with a wonderful family (one wife, three kids) and friends, doing sports (mountain/road biking, trekking, skiing, hunting), working with power tools (especially from Stihl) and music (piano and trumpet).
