"Spire Bristol Hospital provides me with an excellent environment to diagnose and treat my patients to the highest standard."
Other treatments I offer include fixation of upper limb fractures and shoulder stabilisation surgery (shoulder dislocation). I also regularly perform surgery for trapped nerves and tendon conditions around the elbow and hand such as biceps rupture, tennis elbow and carpal tunnel syndrome.
I completed advanced shoulder and elbow fellowship training at the Melbourne Shoulder and Elbow Centre, Australia and Avon Orthopaedic Centre in Bristol, where under the guidance of international experts I honed my clinical and surgical skills enabling me to provide high quality, modern practice to my patients. Prior to this I completed my higher surgical training on the Bristol (Severn) rotation. My basic medical and surgical training was completed in the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff and Morriston Hospital in Swansea. I conducted my undergraduate training at Cardiff University.
In my personal life, I am married to a local GP with whom I have two daughters and a boisterous spaniel! We enjoy many outdoors pursuits such as cycling, swimming, tennis and bodyboarding. I am an avid rugby and cricket fan and may occasionally be seen cheering on my teams at the local stadium.
