Virtual consultations:
I am a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hand and wrist conditions, helping patients regain movement and function following injury, illness or long-term conditions.
I treat a wide range of problems, including nerve compression (such as carpal tunnel syndrome), arthritis, tendon disorders and wrist injuries. I also have a particular interest in supporting patients with neuromuscular conditions that affect the hand and wrist, including those following stroke, head injury or conditions such as cerebral palsy.
Where appropriate, I offer less invasive techniques, including endoscopic (keyhole) carpal tunnel release, which can support a quicker recovery.
My focus is always on understanding how your symptoms are affecting your daily life and working with you to find the most suitable treatment, whether that’s non-surgical management or surgery. I aim to provide clear, straightforward advice so you feel confident in your care.
Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in teaching and training surgeons, which helps me stay up to date with the latest developments in hand and wrist surgery. I also contribute to research and education in this field.
Having trained and worked extensively within the North West, I am proud to provide specialist care to patients locally.
