I specialise in the treatment of hip and knee problems, including hip and knee replacement surgery as well as procedures designed to preserve and repair joints.
I treat conditions such as arthritis, sports injuries, knee and hip pain, and groin pain, and offer a range of treatments including keyhole (arthroscopic) surgery, injections, stem cell treatments, ligament repair, and revision surgery when needed.

 

I provide innovative treatments to patients including growth factor treatments in chronic tendinopathies and osteoarthritis, and hip joint preserving surgery (hip arthroscopy and femoral head resculpting).

I am actively involved in research having completed my doctorate of medicine (MD) research degree at Imperial College London. I have numerous articles in peer reviewed journals and am actively involved in teaching of undergraduates and surgical trainees at UHS. I supervise medical students in their BMed science projects, and have recently been made trauma research lead at UHS.

I am the regional lead for pelvic and acetabular reconstruction providing a tertiary referral service for the Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire areas in this complex field of expertise, which is centralised at UHS. I am also the sarcoma lead at UHS, assessing patients with new primary bone and soft tissue malignancies and treating patients with secondary malignancies.
