I am a consultant surgeon with training in colorectal and general surgery, and I provide a wide range of treatments for conditions affecting the digestive system. My work includes both upper and lower gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopies, which are procedures used to examine the digestive tract and help diagnose a variety of symptoms.

I regularly treat conditions of the bowel, including bowel cancer, using keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery where appropriate. I also manage inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, including ileoanal pouch surgery, which can help restore bowel function after certain operations.

In my practice, I see patients with a broad range of general and colorectal conditions. This includes functional bowel disorders, such as obstructive defecation, as well as faecal incontinence, where bowel control is affected. I also treat pelvic floor conditions like rectal prolapse.

I support patients with perianal conditions, including piles (haemorrhoids), fistulas and fissures, offering advice and treatment tailored to each individual. In addition, I perform laparoscopic surgery for hernias, including inguinal and incisional hernias, aiming to provide effective treatment with a minimally invasive approach wherever possible.
