I am a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon with more than 30 years’ experience in plastic surgery across both the NHS and private practice. I practise at Spire Methley Park Hospital and Spire Harrogate Clinic, where I offer a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, with particular expertise in facial aesthetics, breast surgery and body contouring.

My approach is based on safety, honesty and understanding each patient’s individual goals. I aim to achieve balanced, natural-looking results that enhance proportion and symmetry without looking overdone. I believe good communication is essential, and I take time to discuss your concerns in detail, explain your options clearly and help you make informed decisions about your treatment.

I have a special interest in breast surgery, including breast augmentation, breast uplift and breast reduction procedures. I was one of the first surgeons in the UK to raise concerns with the MHRA in 2014 regarding the risks linked to aggressive textured silicone implants and ALCL. I now use nanotextured breast implants, which are not associated with ALCL. I also offer male breast reduction surgery (gynaecomastia reduction) using a self-developed single-stage technique.

I perform a wide range of body contouring procedures, including tummy tucks, arm lifts and liposuction. As former bariatric lead for massive weight loss patients at Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust, I developed extensive experience in surgery following significant weight loss, including skin tightening and musculofascial reconstruction.

In facial aesthetic surgery, I have particular expertise in facelifts, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, prominent ear correction and facial contouring using fat transfer techniques for natural, long-lasting results. For complex rhinoplasty cases, I can work alongside ENT surgeons where appropriate. I use deep plane and modified deep plane facelift techniques, as well as mini facelift procedures.

As skin cancer lead at Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust, I also offer skin cancer removal and reconstructive surgery for private patients.

To date, I have performed more than 20,000 plastic surgery procedures in both NHS and private settings. Alongside my clinical work, I am an NHS Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, hold a senior clinical post and act as an educational supervisor for junior doctors. I continue to stay up to date with the latest techniques by attending courses and scientific meetings in the UK, Europe and the USA.

I qualified in medicine in Greece before moving to the UK in 1992. I became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1996 and later completed research into scar management, gaining an MPhil from the University of Bradford. I also hold the European Board qualification in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) and am licensed to practise in both the UK and EU.

Throughout my career, I have remained involved in research, teaching and innovation. I have written book chapters, published 15 peer-reviewed papers and presented more than 150 scientific papers at professional meetings.
