My private practice specialises solely in shoulder and elbow surgery and sports injuries. Focussing on shoulder arthroscopies, joint manipulation, joint pain injections, tendon repair and decompression, nerve decompression and rotator cuff repair.
I teach regularly around the country with the Watanabe group in arthroscopic shoulder training and have presented at a number of National and International meetings regarding shoulder surgery.
I trained in medicine and surgery at Cambridge and Oxford Universities before completing my orthopaedic training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore where I was a Lecturer in Orthopaedics and a Senior Registrar. I then completed a Specialist Fellowship year in shoulder and elbow surgery in Sydney, Australia before returning to work in the NHS in England.
I am the Senior Shoulder Surgeon at Portsmouth Hospitals.
I have been awarded a European Travelling Fellowship, an AO Trauma Fellowship and was part of the European (EFORT) Travelling Fellowship programme.
