Specialises in
I trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals Medical School, London, qualifying in 1998 and undertook my basic surgical training in London and Brighton, gaining further experience in orthopaedics in the South West Thames Orthopaedic Training rotation.
My clinical interests include: Trauma surgery - all aspects of fracture fixation including collar bone (clavicle), shoulder and humerus, elbow and forearm, hip and femur, knee (tibial plateau), foot and ankle. Management of acute complex trauma and reconstruction. Management of infections, non-union and deformity correction.
My other treatments include: Complex upper and lower limb fracture fixation, limb reconstruction for deformity and infection, management of acute complex trauma and reconstruction.
I am a Fellow of the Complex Trauma and Limb Reconstruction Fellowship, St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey.
My professional interests include teaching as part of local, regional and national courses and I am a past-president of the Federation of Orthopaedic Trainees in Europe. I am also a reviewer of the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
Alongside my memberships to the British Orthopaedic Association, the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the British Trauma Society, I am also Honorary Junior Secretary to the Royal Society of Medicine and a member of the Scientific Committee of the European Federation of Orthopaedics and Traumatology.
