I do minimally invasive varicose vein surgery, endovenous laser treatment, thread veins, laser veins and vein sclerotherapy.
I trained initially as a general surgeon and then specialised in vascular surgery. This has given me a breadth of experience that spans over 20 years. Appointed in 2006, I work as a consultant vascular surgeon in the South Mersey region covering the Warrington, Chester and Arrowe Park Hospitals.
As a vascular surgeon I am skilled in both open and endovascular procedures. My major vascular procedures tend to be carried out in the NHS and includes procedures such as aneurysm repairs and arterial bypass operations.
Similarly, I provide a wide range of treatments for venous disorders. I keep up to date with advances in techniques for dealing with varicose and spider veins in the legs.
In my clinic I treat various vascular conditions including ablation for varicose veins, aortofemoral bypass, arterial mapping, artery assessment, carotid doppler, carotid endarterectomy, carotid surgery, endovascular treatment and radiofrequency (RF), endovenous laser treatment for varicose veins, foam sclerotherapy for varicose veins, peripheral vascular disease, thread vein treatment and varicose vein stripping.
