I am a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and have a busy private practice at Spire Claremont Hospital.

I graduated in 1993 from Guy’s Hospital Medical School and continued my surgical training in London to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1998.

My specialist plastic and reconstructive surgical training continued at Salisbury, Stoke Mandeville and the Oxford Radcliffe Infirmary. As a Clinical Research Fellow in the laser treatment of burns, my thesis was unconditionally awarded a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) by the University of London in 2005.

After passing the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Plastic Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2004, I carried out further specialist training in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia (Centre of Excellence for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery).

Elected to BAPRAS Council for 2012-14, I am on the Panel of Examiners for the Intercollegiate Specialty Board in Plastic Surgery 2012-2022 to maintain the standards of UK plastic surgery.
