Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr David Gordon at Spire include:
I am a consultant orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon, specialising in the treatment of foot and ankle conditions, with a particular interest in minimally invasive bunion surgery and sports injuries. My practice is based in London and Hertfordshire, England and I have been practising orthopaedics since 1998. I strive for surgical excellence and believe in involving my patients in decision making throughout their treatment.
Fundamental to this is excellent communication. Basing my management of orthopaedic conditions on the best scientific evidence available, together with state of the art equipment and techniques. Together with a dedicated team of sports physicians, musculoskeletal radiologists, physiotherapists, osteopaths, and podiatrists, I offer a comprehensive approach to the care of foot and ankle conditions.
My interests are treatment of all foot and ankle conditions in particular minimally invasive bunion surgery and sports injuries (to tendon, ligament, cartilage, fractures). In addition, I treat plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon problems and Morton's neuroma using minimally invasive techniques, as well as arthroscopy (keyhole) surgery for other foot and ankle conditions. I also perform ankle and toe joint replacements and use extra corporeal shockwave therapy for plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendon problems. I also treat foot and ankle fractures, breaks, ruptures (Achilles) and dislocations.
I perform over 400 foot and ankle procedures annually. I have extensive experience in minimally invasive bunion surgery (hallux valgus) and toe deformity corrections.

I live in Hertfordshire with my wife and three children. I am an avid cyclist and escape to the countryside roads most Sunday mornings, come rain or shine. As an ex-University player, I enjoy watching rugby, and having hand built a Westfield sports car, I follow Formula 1 passionately. My perfect holiday is skiing with my family.Back to top
