Mr David Gordon
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
MB ChB, MRCS, MD, FRCS (Tr & Orth)
I am a consultant orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon, and bunion specialist. My passion lies in minimally invasive bunion surgery, which I have been performing since 2013. I am one of the most experienced surgeons undertaking keyhole bunion surgery in the UK, having performed over 400.
My practice is based in London and Hertfordshire, UK and I have been practising orthopaedics since 1998. I strive for surgical excellence and believe in involving my patients in decision making throughout their treatment. My interests are minimally invasive foot surgery, as well as the treatment of all foot and ankle conditions.
In addition, I also treat plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon problems and Morton's neuroma, as well as arthroscopy (keyhole) surgery for other foot and ankle conditions. I also perform toe joint replacements (Cartiva), ankle ligament reconstructions and use extra corporeal shockwave therapy for plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendon problems. I also treat foot and ankle sprains, fractures, breaks, ruptures (Achilles) and dislocations.
I perform over 400 foot and ankle procedures annually and I have extensive experience in minimally invasive bunion surgery for hallux valgus and other toe deformities.

I live in Hertfordshire with my wife and three children. I am an avid cyclist and escape to the countryside roads most Sunday mornings, come rain or shine. As an ex-university player, I enjoy watching rugby, and having hand built a Westfield sports car, I follow Formula 1 passionately. My perfect holiday is skiing with my family.
