I am a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon with a specialist interest in minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery and conditions affecting the bowel and rectum.

I treat a wide range of conditions, including haemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas and pilonidal disease, using modern surgical techniques such as THD for haemorrhoids. I also perform both open and laparoscopic hernia surgery, offering patients effective treatment with a focus on recovery and long-term outcomes.

A key part of my practice is laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease, where I aim to deliver the benefits of less invasive surgery wherever possible. I also work closely with gynaecology colleagues, providing laparoscopic support in the surgical management of endometriosis.

Alongside surgery, I have an interest in functional bowel disorders and offer both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including colonoscopy and gastroscopy, to help investigate symptoms and guide treatment.

I have been a Consultant at Arrowe Park Hospital since 2011 and am committed to providing clear, personalised care. I take time to ensure patients fully understand their condition and treatment options, helping them feel confident throughout their journey.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, following football as a keen Liverpool FC supporter, and staying active.
