Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Colin Chan at Spire include:
I have been a consultant vascular and general surgeon at Arrowe Park Hospital since 2006. I have practiced at the Countess of Chester Hospital since 2014.
Apart from my general commitments to providing emergency and elective vascular care, my interests are complex aneurysm surgery, visceral ischaemia, complex carotid reconstruction and stenting.
I also lead in the surgical management of diabetic foot disease. I have trained surgical trainees who have successfully become consultants in their own right and I continue to sit on the National Selection Panel for Surgical Training.
Hernia repair surgery
I have a longstanding clinical and research interest in extreme exercise physiology and blood supply to the brain at high altitude.
