I am a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Spire Leeds Hospital and Spire Harrogate Clinic. I carry out a wide range of cosmetic surgery procedures, but my main focus is cosmetic breast and breast revision surgery, body contouring and treatment for skin cancers.
I have extensive experience in performing microsurgical flap breast reconstruction and I have a special interest in performing reconstructive and cosmetic breast surgery. I have developed a highly regarded reputation in corrective surgery, with a special interest in revision and adjustment surgery following previous cosmetic breast surgery. I tailor every operation to the individual patient to ensure the optimal outcome, with an approachable and honest manner, you will find attention to detail in my consultations and surgery outcomes.
As part of my breast work, I also undertake breast reduction on men with gynaecomastia (the growth of excess male breast tissue).
I trained as a plastic surgeon at the world-renowned Groote Schuur Hospital in Capetown. After completing my fellowship and further plastic surgery training at various hospitals across London, I became a consultant in Leeds in 2000.
I am also part of the region's skin cancer treatment team and have a key role in reconstruction following the excision of skin cancers at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals. This is reflected in my private practice with the surgical removal and reconstruction of all non-melanoma skin cancers.
