I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a private practice at Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre and an NHS practice at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, where I lead the knee preservation service.
My approach focuses on preserving the natural knee wherever possible and considering knee replacement only when it is truly needed. I use the latest surgical techniques and tailor treatment plans to each individual patient, with the aim of supporting long-term knee health and helping people return to the activities that matter to them.
I offer a full range of knee treatments and surgery, including cartilage repair and regeneration, meniscal repair and transplantation, osteotomy, ACL and multi-ligament reconstruction, surgery for patellar instability, partial and total knee replacement, and revision knee replacement.
Alongside surgical care, I also provide non-operative treatment options where appropriate, including Arthrosamid for knee osteoarthritis. I am happy to offer second opinions on diagnoses or existing treatment plans, helping patients feel confident and informed about their next steps.
Two key principles shape my practice: precision and personalisation. The first is knee preservation, with a focus on restoring function and delaying or avoiding joint replacement whenever possible. The second is a personalised approach to knee replacement using kinematic alignment, a technique that positions the implant to match each patient’s individual anatomy rather than using a standardised approach. I also offer robotic-assisted knee replacement, which supports this patient-specific philosophy.
