I am a member of The Liverpool Eye Clinic based at Spire Liverpool Hospital. I specialise in several areas of the eye including eyelid surgery, thyroid eye disease and eye socket problems.

I perform eyelid surgery including eyelid cancer excision and reconstruction, ptosis, entropion and ectropion. I also perform cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), botulinum toxin anti-wrinkle injections and facial fillers (eg Restylane). Managing eyes that water excessively by performing tear duct bypass surgery (dacryocystorhinostomy) by both the external skin incision approach and also the latest endonasal, no incision technique. Management of thyroid eye disease, including orbital decompression for protruding eyes and eyelid surgery for lid retraction and orbital fat prolapse. Management of eye socket problems for people with artificial eye prosthesis.

I provide a regional NHS oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital service as part of a team at Aintree University Hospital Trust. I also provide a general ophthalmology service.

After graduating from the University of Sheffield Medical School I specialised in ophthalmology, completing my junior surgical training in Sheffield and senior training in the Merseyside region. I travelled to Auckland, New Zealand for a one year oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery fellowship. I completed my training in Manchester with a further one year fellowship in oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital surgery.
