Virtual consultations:
My practice at Spire Bushey Hospital consists of cosmetic surgery and reconstructive cases. I was one of the first consultants to perform Vaser liposuction in the UK. My area of expertise is body sculpturing and breast re-shaping. I have extensive experience in facial rejuvenation both surgically and using non-surgical techniques. I also carry out post weight loss for patients with significant weight loss such as full body lifting, thigh lifts and facelifts.
My approach to my practice is to take time with patients to discuss all the options available and tailor make the surgery for the patient. I work closely with the regional breast cancer and skin cancer teams. I offer immediate or delayed breast reconstruction, including microsurgical reconstruction using a tummy tuck flap to reconstruct the breast. I have appeared on the BBC One Show carrying out such surgery.
I qualified at Guy's and St Thomas' Medical School in London. My plastic surgical training was in the London Deanery in some of the largest and busiest hospitals in the UK. As one of the leading plastic surgeons, I teach cosmetic surgery to other plastic surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons. I am also involved in pioneering research work on regenerating new tissues through new biomaterials and tissue engineering.
I am the deputy editor of the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery (a British plastic surgery journal), I am also the author of a number of publications and have lectured at national conferences such as The Body Conference, to other surgeons. I regularly appear on TV, providing expert commentary and am often called upon by BAAPS as a spokesperson.
